The more men, more like to people. It works well for SUVs and Crossovers, and every opportunity is good to give them a refill of grit. And the case of the Peugeot 2008 that three years after its debut, it is renewed with a slight restyling of mid-career, but decided. Change the look and the range is enriched with new engines and equipment to reposition the crossover Peugeot in the crowded compact SUV market. Live we will see at the Geneva Motor Show, while the market is expected in the second half of May.

Under the knife of the Centre in 2008 Style, it has received changes especially to the front that greatly changes the aesthetic, at least in photography. Retouching headlights, bonnet, and grille, now more vertical, by a nice touch of masculinity to this Crossover Peugeot. That is from the SUV air thanks to new plastic wheel arch protectors and bumper slightly more massive that at the rear complete the tailpipe.

For the interior the innovations are less relevant, because the original setting of 2008 is still very present, as well as the original thanks to the i-cockpit, or that particular setting ergonomic instrumentation developed by Peugeot with small steering wheel and instrumentation set accordingly. There is a new production marked on sportsmanship (called GT-Line) and have changed some coatings, the shape of the steering wheel and the telematics system which benefits two feature increasingly required by the market as the Apple CarPlay (for those with an Apple smartphone) and mirror Link.

The new range of 2008 consists of four petrol and three diesel versions. The 2008 mountain petrol all the three-cylinder engine with so-called Puretech powers of 82, 110, or 130 hp. The 110 hp version is available with an automatic 6-speed gearbox, while all the other fitted with a 5-speed manual. Also with regard to the diesel engine it is only one (the 1.6 HDi Blue) with three power levels: 75, 100, or 120 hp. All are given the SCR and FAP, but only the most powerful 1.6-liter 120 hp has the start stop. The so-called Grip Control, which is the electronically controlled traction system that optimizes traction on surfaces with poor grip, it is available as an option only in conjunction with engines above 100 hp. Its still early to talk about price, but there should be no significant changes compared to the price of the Peugeot 2008.
