Spring 2016 will bring with it a host of changes and innovations in the BMW range, particularly for series 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, X3, X4, X5 and X6 sold in Europe. For Italy updates affect a smaller number of models and engines, starting with the BMW 218d xDrive Gran Tourer, all-wheel drive version of the Bavarian MPV assembling the 2.0 turbo diesel with 150 hp capable of consuming an average of 4.7 l / 100 km (transmission Steptronic). The other important change is the one that sees the renewal of the BMW 325d, both sedan and Touring, equipped with an enhanced version of the common rail turbodiesel four-cylinder 2.0 TwinPower Turbo that develops 224 hp, consumes 4.4 l / 100 km and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.1 seconds with the 8-speed automatic transmission.
The same new diesel 2.0 TwinPower Turbo 224 hp, from March 2016, gets under the hood of the BMW 425D Coupe, but the two German ports earns mostly unpublished petrol engines. Starting from the bottom in fact we find the BMW 430i Coupe with the same engine provides 252 hp and 350 Nm, one click 0-100 in 5.8 seconds and an average of 5.5 l / 100 km. Just below the M4 instead positions the BMW 440i Coupé fitted with the six-cylinder 3.0-liter 326 hp and 450 Nm, which accelerates from 0 to 100 in 5 seconds flat and consumes an average of 6.6 l / 100 km. The same engines are also available on the 4 Series Convertible and 4 Series Gran Coupe.
Other new BMW introduced with the 2016 range from spring include the availability on the new 7 Series Remote Control Parking, parking remotely manageable with the spectacular Key Display. The same 7 Series is then offered in the new colors of the Individual line: Brilliant White metallic, Frozen Dark Brown metallic, metal Pure Silver, Frozen Arctic, Grey metallic, Aventurinred metallic, Ruby Black metallic, Moonstone metallic, Azurite Black metallic, and Almandine Brown metallic. Beginning next March, the BMW 4 Series Convertible and the M4 Convertible can then be equipped with Open Air package that includes heated steering wheel, heating by the neck, air deflector, HiFi loudspeaker, and trapdoor for through-loading. A real treat is then the M Carbon Compound wheels for the BMW M4 GTS, the first series of circles in the world made from carbon fiber and aluminum, can be fitted Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires developed specifically with measuring 265/35 ZR19 front and 285/30 ZR20 rear.
